Tapper out of 60m hurdles final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Megan Tapper’s quest for a first World Indoor Championships medal ended at the semi-final level of the women’s 60m hurdles on Sunday after she finished third in her semi-final in 8.00 seconds at the Glasgow Arena on the third and final day of the competition.
Tapper had qualified from the first round earlier in the morning with 8.05 seconds, also for third place.
In the semi-final, she finished behind American Masai Russell who equalled her season’s best 7.79 seconds and Bahamian Charisma Taylor who ran a personal best equalling 7.91 seconds.
