#Champs2024: Edwin Allen’s Simms is Class 1 girls’ 1500m champion

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Edwin Allen’s Rickeisha Simms is this year’s ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships Class 1 girls’ 1500m champion.

Simms would not be denied as she blazed to 4:30.36 to win.

Meanwhile, Cindy Rose of Holmwood Technical finished second in 4:32.79, and Hydel High’s Kaydeen Johnson rounded out the top three with 4:33.71.
