#Champs2024: JC’s Creary storms to gold in Class 2 1500m

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica College’s Samuel Creary timed his race perfectly to snatch gold in the Class 2 boys’ 1500m final at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Wednesday.

Creary ran a tactical race to claim the top spot at the line in 4:04.01.

Kingston College’s Nahashon Ruto, who looked unstoppable this season, finished second in 4:04.03.

The bronze was won by Raheem Palmer of Alphansus Davis (4:08.57).
