#Champs2024: Wolmerian Mario Ross clocks sub11 in Class 3 boys’ 100m semis
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Wolmerian Mario Ross ran the only sub11 clocking and a personal best of 10.93 seconds to top the qualifiers for Wednesday’s final of the Class 3 boys’ 100m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
He won semi-final one ahead of Kingston College’s Orandy Campbell (11.21).
Naethan Bryan of St George’s College ran 11.01 to take semi-final two. He was joined by St Elizabeth Technical’s Jamaine Hylton (11.13).
Calabar’s Ched Brown (11.02) and St Jago’s Andre Boyd (11.13) advanced from semi-final three.
Jevaney Findlay of St Jago (11.25) and Edwin Allen’s Kalel Archibald (11.27) qualified based on time.
The final of the Class 3 boys’ 100m is slated for 7:48 pm.
