#Champs2024: St Jago’s Faulknor books spot to Class 3 boys’ long jump final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – St Jago’s Winaldo Faulknor leapt to 6.29m to punch his ticket to the final of the Class 3 boys’ long jump at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Thursday.
Rounding out the top eight are the Kingston College pair of Alex King (6.10) and Daquan Dawkins (6.06); St Jago’s Antwan Reid (5.86); Johnathon Grant’s Javian Grant (5.86); Wolmerian Skye Marsh (5.82); Tadjique Dixon of St George’s College (5.79) and Jamaica College’s Zamari Foster (5.74).
The other finalists are: Calabar High’s Talshawn Edward (5.72); Frome Technical’s Davion Perrin (5.69); King Nugent of St George’s College (5.61) and Black River’s Phillip Pottinger (5.56).
The final of the Class 3 boys’ long jump is scheduled for on Friday at 12:15pm.
