#Champs2024: St Catherine’s Sudlow leaps to gold in Class 1 long jump

KINGSTON, Jamaica – St Catherine High’s Rohanna Sudlow recorded a mark of 6.37m to win the Class 1 girls’ long jump at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Saturday.

Hydel’s Shania Myers, winner of the 100m hurdles, finished second with 6.30m.

Chloe Palmer of St Elizabeth Technical won bronze with 6.00m.

Meanwhile, St Jago High’s Tiana South leapt to a mark of 5.59m to win the Class 3 girls’ title. Finishing in second and third respectively are Zavien Bernard (5.50) and Jada Irons (5.48), both of Hydel High.
