Bring Back The Love returns April 20
Following two successful runs, the concert series Bring Back The Love returns for its third engagement at Courtleigh Auditorium on Saturday, April 20.
Under the distinguished patronage of former Prime Minister P J Patterson, part proceeds will benefit the McCam Child Care Development Centre, offering educational services for children with a range of special needs since 1986.
Promoters LDC Enterprises said they were delighted to be able to meet the tremendous demand from their regular patrons and the music-loving public in renewing the Bring Back The Love presentation.
The team further said that it was a great feeling to keep the tradition of quality musical cabaret performances alive and look forward to this being another successful edition of the show series.
Showtime is 8:00 pm, preceded by a cocktail reception at 7:00 in the foyer of the auditorium.
Heading this year’s line-up is the vivacious, Canada-based, South African star Lorraine Klaasen, who came up under the guidance of musical legends such as musical giants Miriam Makeba, Dorothy “Dolly” Rathebe and her mother, Thandi Klaasen.
Joining Klassen on stage will be Mongezi Ntaka, a South African guitarist, composer, arranger, band leader, musical director, and record producer with whom she has recorded some of her music.
Bring Back The Love will also feature the versatile Pam Hall and smooth crooner/keyboard maestro Harold Davis, with backing by Desi Jones and the band.
The incomparable Fae Ellington will be compere for the evening’s musical offerings.
