NCB, Spectrum carry streaks into Corporate Domino League semis
The first leg of the semi-finals in the 2024 Winners Corporate Domino League begins today, and unbeaten teams National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Spectrum Enterprise will want to get off to a solid start.
NCB led Group A with 17 points after five victories and one tie, followed by Covenant Insurance Brokers (15), Kingston Bookshop (eight), and Crystal Network Solutions (eight).
Spectrum Enterprise led Group B with 18 points from six games. Digicel Group came in second with 11 points, followed by Top View Liquor and Variety Store with eight points and Bammaz Auto Shop with seven.
NCB will face Digicel Group in the first semi-final, while Spectrum will face Covenant Insurance Brokers in the second. Both bouts start at 6:30 pm at Digicel’s headquarters in downtown Kingston.
NCB finished the group stages with a commanding 75-60 win against Covenant Insurance Brokers in the top-of-the-table duel. NCB dominated from start to end at their home site, the Wellness Centre in St Andrew.
In the other Group A game, Crystal Network Solution upset Kingston Bookshop 123-95 at Mystic Sports Bar and Lounge in Half-Way-Tree.
Spectrum Enterprise beat Bammaz Auto Shop, 83-77, in the night’s only Group B game.
