On Saturday, May 4, 2024, partygoers rallied at points across Ocho Rios to be guided by Le Dîner en Blanc (DeB) volunteers to an undisclosed location.
At about 4:45 pm guests — picnic baskets in tow — arrived at the Tranquility Gardens, Dunn’s River Falls in a stunning wave of white for the return of the event’s Jamaican iteration.
They immediately got to work, setting tables, unpacking baskets, and adding finishing touches as they secretly competed for the best-dressed table. Just over 30 minutes of organised chaos and the scene was set.
The soirée began after the traditional napkin wave, with prosecco, and a fabulous feast following suit. The sound of Lighter by Tarrus Riley and Shenseea signalled guests to get out of their seats and light sparklers in unison. Sean Paul’s Gimme The Light permeated the air as the party began!
