JOA launches Paris 2024 Olympic Games

“Paris will be a spectacle!”

This was Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) Secretary General and CEO Ryan Foster’s declaration on Thursday, May 16 as he addressed those who had gathered at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games media launch.

The JOA will sponsor five selected Jamaican athletes in their preparations ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to the tune of $6 million.

The five athletes include triple-jumper Shanieka Ricketts, 400-metre hurdler Malik James-King, high jumper Christoff Bryan, discus thrower Samantha Hall and hammer throw national record holder Nayoka Clunis.
