Newcastle welcome Arsenal in a highly anticipated EPL clash

Justbet offers Newcastle at odds of $3.66 to beat Arsenal

Two of the surprise teams in Germany will meet in a blockbuster clash today when defending champions Bayer Leverkusen host last season’s third-placed team Stuttgart at the Bay Arena, then on Saturday, Arsenal travels to Newcastle looking to get their title bid back on track after failing to win in their last two league games.

Event # 1 – Ger– Leverkusen vs Stuttgart – 2:30 PM

Leverkusen and Stuttgart will meet in an intriguing clash later today which promises to be a captivating encounter between two attacking teams who battled each other for the Bundesliga title last season, with Leverkusen eventually lifting their first Bundesliga title, going unbeaten for the entire of the season. The defending champions have made an excellent start to the new campaignbut still find themselves five points off the leaders Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, in third place. However, they enter this crucial home game off the back of a comfortable 3-0 midweek DFK-Pokal winover Elversberg, a result that extended Leverkusen’s unbeaten run to 10 matches across all competitions, although they have drawn four of their last seven matches. However, Leverkusen are on an astonishing run of just two defeats in their last 67 matches in all competitions.
Stuttgart, on the other hand have shown flashes of brilliance so far but has struggled for consistency. They have been scoring goals for fun but have conceded just as much at the other end (15). Stuttgart have struggled on the road this season winning just one of their opening four matches. Ahead of this game, Stuttgart, like their upcoming opponents, Leverkusen, booked their place in the DFB-Pokal third round in midweek, beating Kaiserslautern 2-1. With that said, Stuttgart will travel to the defending champions in good spirit having gone unbeaten in their last three overall matches, which includes a 1-0 victory over Italian giants Juventus in Champions League action. However, a trip to the exciting Leverkusen will prove a stern test for Stuttgart as they have failed to record a single win in any of their last 10 league games against Leverkusen, suffering six defeats during that run.

Key Stats
• Bayer Leverkusen – Bayer Leverkusen have not lost a league match home or away to Stuttgart in their last nine meetings.

• Stuttgart – Stuttgart have defeated Leverkusen just once in their last 27 meetings, that win coming back in April 2018.

• Both sides – In their last six head-to-head clashes, Leverkusen have won four times with the other two games ending in draws, extending their unbeaten run against Stuttgart to 10 matches.

The betting tip: Leverkusen win.

Event # EPL – Newcastle vs Arsenal – 7:30 AM

Newcastle will welcome Arsenal in a highly anticipated Premier League clash tomorrow, Saturday, November 2, aiming to return to winning ways. The Magpies, Newcastle, enter this crucial game in horrible form, having lost their last two consecutive matches: losing 1-0 at home to Brighton before suffering a 2-1 away loss to Chelsea last weekend. However, Newcastle have been exceptionally good at home against Arsenal in recent times, winning two of their last three meetings against the Gunners and they now host an Arsenal side riddled with injuries. Indeed, the last time Newcastle played host to Arsenal at St James Park, they prevailed 1-0.With that said, Newcastle will enter this game in wretched form, having gone winless in their last five league games, drawing two and suffering three losses during that run.
Similar to their host, Newcastle, Arsenal enters this clash having wobbled a bit in their last two matches, losing 2-0 to Bournemouth just before the international break before being held to a 2-2 last weekend at home by Liverpool, after having led twice in the game. With that said, playing at home, Newcastle will undoubtedly put up a strong fight at home, but Arsenal’s superior form and quality makes them favourites to secure the win and get their title ambitions back on track. Indeed, the Gunnershave made a steady start to the season and have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games.

Key Stats
• Newcastle – Newcastle have won two of their last three home matches against Arsenal, and when both sides met at St James Park last season, Newcastle won 1-0.
• Arsenal – Arsenal have lost just one of their last 9 matches, that one defeat coming in their last five games, which includes two wins and two draws.
• Both sides – Arsenal have won 12 of their last 13 Premier League games against Newcastle.

The betting tip: Arsenal win or draw.
