St Catherine businessman charged with assault
Thirty-year-old Kevaugn Bailey, a business owner of Planters, Old Harbour in St Catherine, has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm following an incident in Island Farm, Bush Park in the parish on December 28.
Reports from the Old Harbour police are that about 1:30 p.m., Bailey went to the home of a woman where an argument developed. During the argument, Bailey reportedly punched the woman in her face, resulting in swelling and bruises.
A report was made, an investigation launched, and Bailey was subsequently arrested and charged.
His court date is being arranged.
