Flow empowers women to connect to their vision, build their future at Observer’s Wishes to Wins vision board event

FLOW has announced its proud sponsorship of the Jamaica Observer All Woman’s highly anticipated Wishes to Wins vision board event, an inspiring initiative designed to empower women to dream boldly, plan strategically, and take actionable steps towards achieving their goals.

This transformative event will be held on Sunday, January 12 at the AC Hotel in Kingston, and will provide participants with the tools, guidance, and inspiration to align their personal and professional aspirations for the year ahead.

“Vision boarding is more than a creative exercise — it’s a proven method of visualising goals and staying focused on achieving them. With Flow’s commitment to innovation and connectivity, the event will also highlight how technology can support the journey from planning to execution,“ the telecommunications company said Wednesday.

“At Flow, we understand that technology is a key enabler for personal and professional growth,” said Danielle Savory, senior communications manager at Flow. “Whether it’s accessing resources, staying organised, or fostering connections, our technology helps individuals take control of their future. We are thrilled to support this event and help participants turn their dreams into actionable plans.”

Set against the backdrop of a supportive and motivating atmosphere, the vision board event will feature activities that inspire creativity, focus, and collaboration. The session will be led by consultant sociologist, media practitioner, and capacity-building expert, Georgia Crawford-Williams, who will help participants create personalised vision boards representing their dreams and goals.

She noted that “vision boarding leverages the power of visualisation, helping women keep their goals front and centre”.

In addition to mapping the future, the vision board event is a chance to connect with others, explore new possibilities, and leave inspired to embrace the future with confidence.

“Flow’s involvement ensures that technology remains at the heart of the conversation, bridging the gap between inspiration and implementation. As the event approaches, Flow invites women across Jamaica to think about their goals, reflect on their dreams, and consider how the power of connection can help them achieve the extraordinary,“ Savory said.

 

What you can expect

Guest speaker Georgia Crawford-Williams says one of the biggest lessons she hopes to share at the workshop is about balance.

“It’s a word we hear all the time, but what does it actually look like in real life? We get so many messages about who we should be and what our lives should look like, and sometimes we get so lost in one facet of our lives that we forget others even exist — until we’re running on empty,” she said.

“But when all is said and done, how do you go about creating the balance that feels right for you — balance that’s realistic, sustainable, and, most importantly, happy? That’s the journey I want us to take together in this session — to craft a vision of a life that feels true to who we are and where we want to go.”

Crawford-Williams “absolutely” believes vision boarding is an activity that can help women reap significant rewards — “vision boarding leverages the power of visualisation, helping women keep their goals front and centre”.
