Sherwin Gardner’s Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) gets a new lease on life
Exactly one year after it was released commercially, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) by Trinidadian gospel/reggae artiste Sherwin Gardner has reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart.
The Billboard Hot Gospel songs chart uses the same methodology as the Billboard Hot 100 the magazine’s flagship songs chart by incorporating data from the sales of downloads, streaming data and airplay across all monitored radio stations.
Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) rises to #10 in its 23rd non-consecutive week on the chart. The current chart leader is That’s My King by CeCe Winans.
Over on the Billboard Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) falls from #6 to #9 in its 9th non-consecutive week. It peaked at #2 in early 2024.
Gardner’s latest EP titled Find Me Here, was released on January 17 via Flow Masters Records/Tyscot Records LLC. It features the title track hit single as well as My Blessing (featuring Kevin Downswell and Positive), Thank You, Praise (Lift Him Up) a collaboration with Jonathan Traylor and Tedashii, We Got God and Over Me.
Last year, Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) also charted on other Billboard charts including US Afrobeats Songs, World Digital Song Sales and Gospel Digital Songs Sales charts.
Elsewhere on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers clocks 262 non-consecutive weeks in the #1 spot. The hits collection, which was released in 1984, was recently certified 15x platinum in the United Kingdom, for sales surpassing 4.5 million units.
Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection remains at #2, with World on Fire by Stick Figure at #3 and Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul inching into the #4 position.
Greatest Hits by Ub40 dips to #5, Dutty Rock by Sean Paul holds steady at #6, while Stick Figure occupies #7 and #8 with Wisdom and Set in Stone, respectively.
Exodus by Bob Marley and the Wailers is at #9, while Welcome to Jamrock by Damian “Jr Gong” Marley re-enters at #10.
On Billboard’s Rhythmic Top 40 Airplay, Akon’s Beautiful Day by Akon rises from #7 to #6 in its 11th week on the tally, while Skip Marley’s Close inches up from #24 to #23 in its tenth week.
Meanwhile, Awuke by Davido featuring YG Marley is on its way off the chart, dropping from #32 to #39 in its nineth week.
Awuke has better luck on the US Afrobeats Songs chart as it remains at #18.
Now onto the South Florida Reggae chart, Thank You Lord by Bugle featuring Buju Banton and Damian Marley spends a 4th week at #1.
Love Doctor by Shuga moves from #3 to #2, Close by Skip Marley steps up from #7 to #5, and Old Gyalis by Nigy Boy improves from #25 to #22.
Tweezers by Ras Shiloh is new at #24.
Such Man Party by Buju Banton is #1 on the New York Reggae chart, with 80s Wild by Protoje moving up from #5 to #2.
Be Your Friend by Ghost remains at #10, while Everything and Anything by Agent Sasco and Lila Ike rises from #22 to #20.
Eric Moore is new at #29 with Wanted.
