Kaylyn inks deal with Rokwon Productions

Dancehall recording artiste Kaylyn has taken her career to new heights having recently signed with Rokwon Productions.

The deal was inked in February.

“I met Kaylyn in October 2024 through a good friend who is a voice coach. We talked on the phone and checked out her talent. She then flew to Jamaica where we solidified our agreement of working together,” producer Rokwon told the Jamaica Observer.

With this major milestone in hand, the vibrant Kaylyn is excited to explore the possibilities, already hard at work on new material to share with the world.

“It means a lot to me as I’ve been working very hard whilst investing in myself and my brand. I now feel at ease knowing that I’m not alone anymore. My aim is also to put the label on a higher status,” the singer told the Observer.

Based in Cassia Park in the Corporate Area, Rokwon Studios was established in 2015. The set-up also spearheads promotions for events and live stage shows. Having done a few productions, the outfit took a break to refurbish its studios, as well as take care of personal matters. Now, back up and running, and committed to continuing to contribute to the world of music, Kaylyn joining the stable makes the future even more promising.

“Kaylyn is super talented, she has the image and, even more importantly she’s a good human being with a passion to do good things,” the producer continued.

Describing her musical style as a mixture of old-school classics with Gen Z aura, the singer has released songs such as
Owna Tings, I’m Protected, Falling In Love featuring BNICK, and Fraid Fi Talk.

Her new single Mile High is ready for release very soon, with the accompanying music video already shot as well.

“The aim is to connect with more audiences, as well as for people to get more familiar with my music. I just want to say how grateful I am to everyone that has been a part of this musical journey from start to where I am today, thank you,” Kaylyn said.
