Terror Fabulous to make intimate return to live stage on Holy Thursday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Veteran dancehall deejay Terror Fabulous is expected to make his grand return to the stage in a special showcase inside Club MECA this Holy Thursday.
In what is expected to be an unforgettable performance that will take patrons on a stroll down memory lane, the 90s dancehall front-runner is slated to serve up some authentic dancehall classics. According to his management team, the highly anticipated performance is not to be missed as the Position singer is poised to thrill.
“Terror Fabulous will take the audience on a nostalgic lyrical ride through the 90s, giving his true fans what they’ve been longing for,” his management said in a statement to Observer Online. “Sweet
dancehall vibes will prevail with songs like Number 2, Position and many more in an intimate session not to be missed. It ago mad!”
“MECA boss”, Michael Dawson, said like many dancehall lovers who consider the formidable 90s as the best era in dancehall, he too is excited to see Terror Fabulous’ return to the stage. He shared that with the deejay long considered one of music’s best, he had zero reservations offering up his club as the venue to host his comeback.
“It’s the Thursday before the long Holiday weekend, and patrons have been asking for a 90s night at MECA for years. We couldn’t think of a better DJ to kick it off with than the great Terror Fabulous. He is a pillar in dancehall music and deserves his moment to once again thrill his fans with some of his greatest hits,” Dawson said. “I have no doubt that the deejay will deliver a spectacular performance that will showcase the authenticity that only 90s dancehall can bring.”
Terror Fabulous is known for hits such as Action, Position, Number 2 and You Nuh Kotch.
The night’s performance will be held under MECA’s Jamkila Thursdays marquee event. Ladies will enter free before 1:00 am and will be treated to Jamkila mixes also free of cost. Prior to Fabulous’ performance, the tone will be set through the musical jugglings of DJ Smurf, the legendary Stone Love and Richie Poo from Silver Hawk.
