DJs put masqueraders in a dancing mood at GenXS road march
With soca hits past and present, DJs on some of the trucks in the GenXS road march, lifted the spirits of revellers thrusting sweaty bodies into a dancing kaleidoscope.
As the procession snaked its way along Trafalgar Road onwards to Lady Musgrave Road, revellers jammed to hits like Ring Finga by Lady Lava, Lucy by Destra and Monster Winer by Kerwin Du Bois and Lil Rick among others.
On the Smirnoff truck, DJ Rashade From New York kept the vibes flowing, while UWI student and Trinidad native Selector Watty upped the ante with his musical skills.
DJ Gabby and DJ Kevy both held court on the Wendy’s truck and they spun a web of hits.
The veteran DJ Doc brought revived soca hits from the past, much to the delight of the mature revellers.
