Mega cleaning and sanitation partnership launched
PARAMOUNT Trading (Jamaica) Limited and Manpower & Maintenance Services (MMS) Limited Group have announced a partnership aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of cleaning and sanitation services across Jamaica.
Under this agreement, Paramount Trading will manufacture and supply a range of specialised chemical products tailored to meet the operational needs of Manpower & Maintenance Services Limited.
Some of the products included in this collaboration are varying strengths bleach, for effective disinfection and sanitation; concrete cleaner, designed to tackle tough stains and residues on concrete surfaces; and Imper Mur, a treatment for damp indoor walls, addressing moisture-related issues.
Hugh Graham, chief executive officer of Paramount Trading, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.
“This alliance represents a significant step forward in our commitment to providing top-tier chemical solutions that support the vital work of sanitation professionals. By combining our manufacturing expertise with Manpower’s service excellence, we are poised to set new benchmarks in the industry,” said Graham.
Chief Operations Officer at Paramount Everton Younger also hailed the partnership as a perfect fit for the company’s strategic plan.
“We want to be primarily manufacturers. Currently, the split of our business doesn’t indicate that we have big manufacturing ambitions. This partnership will help us to demonstrate that. We see ourselves as manufacturers first with a distribution arm in the mix to support that…but that’s where we want to go, and this marriage is perfect for us, and I think over time we will be able to demonstrate this,” said Younger.
In the meantime, Don Gittens, chief executive officer of Manpower & Maintenance Services, said the partnering with Paramount Trading, “allows us to enhance our service offerings with high-quality, locally manufactured products”.
“This collaboration not only strengthens our operational capabilities, but also underscores our dedication to delivering superior cleaning and maintenance solutions to our clients,” he said.
According to Gittens, through this alliance, “Manpower will have its own labels in the marketplace,” and given the size and range of contracts that MMS now manages, this will help to utilise the economies of scale to enable us to buy products at a reasonable price as well as increase efficiency by having a ready stream of available products”.
Gittens said MMS has been growing exponentially and this partnership will allow it to be more competitive and satisfy its customers more efficiently.
