WATCH: High-end bikes seized in major police operation in St Elizabeth
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Five high-end motorcycles, including two BMW bikes, were seized in a major operation conducted by the St Elizabeth Police on Wednesday.
According to Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St Elizabeth police division, the investigation was initiated following the recovery of a motorcycle reported stolen in the United States, which was found in the parish at an adjoining premises.
After several weeks of thorough investigation, a targeted raid was carried out at two separate locations in New Building leading to the seizure of the high-end motorcycles, along with additional bike-related items such as flares and tires, the police said.
The owner or operator of the premises where the vehicles were recovered is being sought for questioning.
The investigation remains ongoing, the police said.
