Indian billionaire dies after swallowing bee at Polo match

WINDSOR, England—Indian auto components billionaire Sunjay Kapur collapsed and died during a polo match in Windsor, England, on June 12, after reportedly swallowing a bee.

According to the Telegraph, the 53-year-old billionaire was heard saying “I’ve swallowed something” by eyewitnesses at the match moments before he collapsed.

It is believed that he was stung in the mouth by a bee, which triggered an allergic reaction and caused him to suffer a heart attack.

Kapur was the chairman of the auto components maker, Sona Comstar, with nine factories across the United States, India, China, Mexico and Serbia.

According to Forbes, Kapur has a net worth of 1.2 billion.
