In pictures: Big turnout for JLP rally as PM announces election date

There was a large turnout for the Jamaica Labour Party meeting in Half Way Tree Square, St Andrew on Sunday evening, with Prime Minister Andrew Holness using the occasion to announce the election date of September 3.

The JLP faithfuls including the top brass of the party were out in their numbers despite heavy showers for most of the day. Jamaica Observer photographers Naphtali Junior and Karl McLarty were on the ground to share highlights. See the slider below.
