Mandeville Rotary Club launches first-ever charity Golf tournament to save lives
MANDEVILLE, Jamaica– The Rotary Club of Mandeville is set to host its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament on August 24 which is expected to bring together golfers from across Jamaica.
This year, the rotary club which has stood as pillar of service tackling community needs with vision and action, is seeking to place automated external defibrillators in schools, public places and vulnerable communities in Mandeville.
“For 62 years, the Rotary Club of Mandeville has been serving our community. This project is about protecting every heartbeat in Manchester. Local businesses, service clubs, and individuals are invited to partner with the Rotary Club of Mandeville in making this event—and its impact—unforgettable,” the Club said.
“This club is seeking to equip key public locations and vulnerable institutions with AED units and train school staff and community members in lifesaving emergency response,” it added.
