‘Fowl’ charged with burglary and attempted rape
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A St Catherine man has been charged with burglary and attempted rape following an incident in Cressa Lane in the parish on Tuesday, August 12.
He is Robert Brown, 43, otherwise called “Fowl”, of Orchid Close, Greater Portmore.
According to police reports, about 11:00 pm, Brown forced open the grille to a woman’s house and gained entry. It is alleged that he then entered the room where she was sleeping and attempted to rape her.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched, during which Brown was named as a person of interest. He was subsequently arrested and charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
He is scheduled to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday, August 22.
