WATCH: Slow voting frustrates in St Andrew Eastern
Patricia Duncan Sutherland, People’s National Party candidate for St Andrew Eastern, expressed concern about the slow pace of voting in the constituency on Wednesday morning.
Speaking minutes after casting her vote at Mona High School, Duncan Sutherland said she was at the location for over an hour, and the pace wasn’t “normal”.
“I’ve spoken to the returning officer and our party representatives to see what can be done to improve the pace,” she said.
Duncan Sutherland is attempting to unseat the Jamaica Labour Party’s Fayval Williams in the constituency.
