Resolving a persistent Digicel issue
Dear Claudienne,
I live in St Andrew and for three months I have been having problems with the Wi-Fi and phone service I get from Digicel.
Every time I turn on my television I see the message “waiting to initialise” on the screen.
I made at least six reports to Digicel about the problem and on three occasions the company sent a technician to my house.
While the technician was at my house the television seemed to be working OK, but once he left and I turned it off and on again the problem reccured.
Two weeks ago I called Digicel and the customer agent transferred me to their technical team.
The technical team diagnosed the issues I was experiencing with the television as a timing problem and gave me a list of instructions for the technician to follow to address the problem.
When I gave the technician the list of written instructions, he said they were rubbish and refused to try them to fix the problem.
The technician changed the cable box, but I still have no television, Internet, or phone service.
I would appreciate your help.
