SO: What are some common misconceptions about the Students’ Loan Bureau (SLB)?

The second phase of our online loan management platform launches by year-end. Borrowers will be able to:

o View real-time loan balances

o Access due dates

o Download digital statements — all from their preferred device.

NW: A cosy space, my journal — and maybe soft music in the background. That’s my kind of creative escape.

SO: How do you relax after a stressful week?

NW: I’ll admit — I’m a foodie! Dinner (whether solo or with friends) is always a favourite way to unwind. Add in great conversation or a good movie, and I’m content. On Sundays, I attend church, which is essential for me — it grounds me, refreshes my spirit, and helps me reset for the week ahead.

SO: An evening in or out?

NW: I genuinely enjoy both, but most times, a cosy evening in wins.

SO: What’s your preference: A good book or a rom-com?

NW: Honestly, it depends on my mood! I start each day with my
Bible, but outside of that, I enjoy business and personal development books — but I also can’t resist a heartwarming romantic movie.

SO: Room service or reservations at a restaurant?

NW: Definitely restaurant reservations. I enjoy the full experience — the ambience, the food, and the social connection.

SO: And what are you drinking?

NW: An Appleton Golden Mojita

SO: Share with us a few of the most memorable countries you’ve visited.

NW: Outside of the United States, which I visit often, I’ve truly enjoyed exploring Canada, St Lucia, and the Dominican Republic — each one offered something unique and memorable.

SO: What are your travel essentials?

NW: My skincare bag, a crisp white blazer, my signature scent (J’adore by Dior), a good pair of loafers, and of course — a great book.

SO: What are your preferred fashion labels?

NW: I gravitate toward timeless, classy, and comfortable pieces. My go-to brands include Tory Burch, Zara, Ann Taylor, Coach, and Express. I also love tailored clothing — and no outfit is complete without the right accessories.

SO: Lipstick or lip gloss?

NW: Definitely a lip gloss girl! You’ll find them everywhere — my car, purse, office desk. My current favourite is Mauve Wives by Fenty Beauty.

SO: Finally, what’s your personal credo?

NW: Authentic… Purpose…Heart.
