Spaces Jamaica, the furniture and home décor store, led by founder and creative director Janelle Pantry-Coke, hosted the second in the Jamaica Observer #DesignWeekJa Design Dialogue series: ‘The future of Jamaican Architecture and Design’. Leading the conversation were architect at Virtuoso Architect Hugo Matthews, realtor at Valerie Levy & Associates Tanya Sue Brice-Harris, and Proven Properties CEO Aisha Campbell, who shared their expertise while interacting with the intimate audience that convened at the store’s Ardenne Emirates showroom.
The event attracted architects, design enthusiasts and customers. Interior designer Karina Matalon arrived with purchasing manager Simone Phillips, attorney-at-law Debra-Ann Matthews and engineer & building contractor Marsha-Gaye Miles were spotted enjoying the comfort of Spaces Wowza Navy Sleeper Sofastore’s sofas, and Caribbean School of Architecture and Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts textile students were among others who filled the space.
