A testament to what both parties described as the perfect pairing, Boom Energy Drink renewed its contract with World Boom, extending the popular dancehall selector’s brand ambassadorship.

The official signing took place in the selector’s hometown in Grant’s Pen, where he admitted that becoming global ambassador to a corporate brand meant more than he could put into words.

“This is what dreams are made of, especially as a youth growing up in the ghetto. I feel really good within myself to know the brand has been rocking with me, just like I have been rocking with them. Everywhere me go inna di world mi carry Boom with me,” he popular selector said.

He went on to highlight that, as an ambassador, he has represented the brand to his fullest potential and therefore saw the contract renewal coming.

“To be honest, it was only a matter of time because this was expected. When you see me, you see Boom, and me always represent the brand to the best of my abilities. I feel extra good to know that this renewal comes when the brand will be going overseas. It’s a much-needed expansion because I can’t travel without people asking if me bring Boom fi dem,” he said with a laugh. “It’s a good look and I am happy to be a part of a team that grows.”

Speaking of growth, Caryl Mullings-McDonald, head of exports, hospitality, and customer experience at Boom, said the brand has always eyed expansion, and now that vision is

“The first container for Boom is arriving in the UK by next month. So you don’t have to sneak it in anymore,” she laughed. “We do have Boom in the UK, but we want to go mainstream in the supermarkets, etc. We at Wisynco are all about growth and development… We’re always going to ask what the market needs and answer that.”

“When I heard on the grapevine that when Boom Boom is in the UK every month and they’re bombarding him with requests for Boom, I jumped on that and went straight to our marketing team and asked about an action plan… [S]o now we’re excited about giving it to them,” Mullings-McDonald continued, heaping praises on Boom Boom for being the kind of ambassador that helps to bring new opportunities to the table.

“It has been a perfect partnership for us. He has been a fantastic ambassador for us, reaching out in his own energy and vibe, and we really thoroughly enjoyed what he’s done for the brand,” she said.
