Lifespan Water production affected by Melissa
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Following damage to several of its locations during the passage of Hurricane Melissa, Lifespan Company Limited, producers of Lifespan Spring Water, says it will be implementing revised timelines for production.
“With [electricity] down and limited communications, the plant is currently operating at partial capacity. Our Montego Bay location is facing similar difficulties, while our Kingston location remains fully up but with constrained communications,” the company said.
Lifespan added that it is also prioritising the safety of its workers.
“We extend our heartfelt support to everyone affected. We understand that many of our team members and their families are navigating the path to recovery. We stand with you in solidarity, our staff, our customers, stakeholders, and the wider Jamaican community, in support of resilience and hope as we all navigate recovery.”
The company said it will implement and communicate timelines until it regains full functionality at each location.
