Rock-blooded fashion designer Brandon Blackwood — best known for his coveted trunk bags — has been experimenting more with apparel lately. The chocolate gown he concocted for Love Island USA alum Olandria Carthen for her first Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards was not only arguably one of the best looks of the evening, but a reminder about why he’s becoming a go-to for iconic red-carpet moments. The 2025 CFDA Awards, honouring the best in American fashion and accessory design, were held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York’s Upper West Side on November 3, and also saw American actress and model Laura Harrier in Diotima SS26 RTW, and supermodel Naomi Campbell in all-white Alaïa.
Plus, in more Brandon Blackwood news, his contemporary brand celebrated 10 incredible years with a star-studded bash at New York night spot Paradise Club last Friday.
