Coralisle Group mobilises regional resources for Jamaica’s hurricane recovery
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Coralisle Group Ltd, a major insurance provider in the Caribbean, is deploying resources from across its network to support recovery efforts in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa.
The Bermuda-based holding company stated it has mobilised dedicated claims and logistics teams in Jamaica, with on-the-ground support from staff in Barbados and Trinidad and specialised assistance from partners in Miami.
Employees in other territories are providing remote administrative support to process claims.
The storm caused significant damage, particularly in Jamaica’s western region.
Clients in Jamaica have been advised to file claims through the company’s website, a dedicated email address or a local phone number, according to the statement.
Beyond insurance payouts, Coralisle Group said it is providing support to local organisations focused on rebuilding healthcare infrastructure and addressing homelessness. The company has also shipped essential supplies, including tarpaulins and water, to affected communities.
“When one of our regions is impacted, the rest stand ready to help,” Naz Farrow, chief executive of Coralisle Group, said in the statement. “Our collective strength lies in our ability to unite resources, expertise and compassion.”
The company noted that similar support efforts are underway in other territories affected by the hurricane, including the Turks and Caicos Islands and The Bahamas.
