JPS fixes Ocho Rios pole down since Hurricane Melissa

Dear Claudienne,

I live in a community in the Ocho Rios area of St Ann. I would like to know what is happening regarding JPS and the outage of light in my area since Hurricane Melissa.

The hurricane has had a serious effect on me as a big iron JPS pole has fallen down in my yard. This is an emergency and I would like someone from the company to come and check on it urgently.

I am sending you a picture.

DM

Dear DM,

After you sent the column a video on Thursday, November 6, you were asked for the lightpole number. Tell Claudienne contacted the company and notes that JPS workers came to your premises on November 7 and 8 and rectified the problem.

We wish you all the best.

Have a problem with a store, utility, a company? Telephone 876- 936-9436 or CELL/whatsapp # 876-484-1349 or write to: Tell Claudienne c/o Sunday Finance, Jamaica Observer, 40-42 1/2 Beechwood Avenue, Kingston 5; or e-mail: edwardsc@jamaicaobserver.com. Please include a contact phone number.
