After months of waiting, worker finally gets update on gratuity
Dear Claudienne,
I am employed as a communications specialist in the public relations and corporate communication division of a government ministry. Outstanding to me are my gratuity payments for the administrative years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. However, the application that has been processed by my human resources division here at the ministry is the one now with the Accountant General’s Department — the one for the 2023-2024 payment. That is the information from HR.
So, I am kindly asking you to enquire about that payment from the AGD. Thanks for your promised effort on my behalf.
GN
Dear GN,
Tell Claudienne contacted the office of the Accountant General and notes that the department has updated you on the gratuity payment you are to receive for 2023-2024. The Accountant General sent the column an email that stated the following:
“We trust that all is well with you. Thank you for reaching out regarding an update on the pensioner, GN. We can confirm that he has been contacted and updated on the status of his gratuity payment for 2023-2024. We appreciate your interest and understanding.”
We wish you all the best.
