Minor earthquake felt in St Elizabeth early Monday

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A minor earthquake rattled parts of St Elizabeth early Monday morning, according to a preliminary bulletin from the Earthquake Unit.

The tremor occurred at 2:24 am on December 1 and registered a magnitude of 3.1. Its epicentre was located near Goshen, St Elizabeth, with a focal depth of 10 kilometres.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
