My Kingston – Greg Anthony Millwood

My Kingston – Greg Anthony Millwood

Style Observer (SO): What is your astrological sign?

Greg Anthony Millwood (GAM): Libra.

SO: Describe Gregory in a few sentences.

GAM: Greg is a hard-working and ambitious individual who tackles every challenge with focus and determination. At the same time, he is loving and caring, always making time for the people who matter most and lifting others as he climbs.

SO: As a young man in construction, what plans are top of mind for future builds?

GAM: My focus is simple: build smarter, build stronger, and build with purpose. I’m committed to creating spaces that uplift communities, sustainable, innovative projects that add real value and stand the test of time.

SO: What is your message of hope for young people who have been impacted negatively by Hurricane Melissa and are feeling less than optimistic about the future?

GAM: To those young people I say: Hear this: every generation faces its storms, but storms don’t last there’s still a bright future ahead.

SO: What do you love most about Kingston?

GAM: Kingston is the Miami of Jamaica! To me it’s the hub. I get to experience the nightlife scene, amazing restaurants; it’s more efficient for development.

SO: Where would you take a first-time visitor to Kingston?

GAM: Sky Ultra Lounge

Maiden Cay

AC Hotel

East Japanese

Strawberry Hill

SO: Driving to the country from Kingston what are you listening to?

GAM: Definitely cultural music. My favourite song being Anthony B’s Raid The Barn and literally every Bob Marley song.

SO: As the father of two, what’s the most important lesson you can impart?

GAM: The greatest lesson I can pass on to them is self-worth. Because once you truly understand the value you carry in this life, there is nothing and no one that can stand in your way. Confidence becomes your compass, resilience becomes your armour, and every step you take is rooted in knowing you are enough.

SO: How would you describe your style?

GAM: My style is unique, clean, and effortlessly put-together.

SO: What was your last bit of retail therapy?

GAM: I bought land to develop… That’s my retail therapy!

SO: Which cologne are you currently splashing?

GAM: Louis Vuitton Orage.

SO: What’s your preferred Appleton drink?

GAM: Appleton 8-year-old. Today I’m having it in an Estate Daiquiri with lime juice and simple syrup.

SO: What’s your favourite Christmas carol?

GAM: Jingle Bells.

SO: What’s your Christmas wish for Jamaica?

GAM: I want everyone affected by the hurricane to receive continuous support, comfort, and strength. For their lives to return to a place of stability and normalcy in the very near future, and may our nation continue to stand together in compassion and unity.

SO: Finally, what’s your personal credo?

GAM: When you put good into the world, it finds its way back to you.
