48-hour curfew extended in St Andrew South Police Division
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in the St Andrew South Police Division, has been extended.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 25.
The boundaries are as follows:
East – An imaginary line at Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue travelling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive.
South– An imaginary line from the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue, to Duhaney River.
West – An imaginary line from the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour.
North – An imaginary line from Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue intersection following the divisional boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
