Tropical Battery seeks extension for audited financial statements
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tropical Battery Company Limited has requested an extension to file its audited financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2025, pushing the deadline to February 16, 2026.
In an update issued Wednesday to the Jamaica Stock Exchange, the company cited the need for additional time to ensure accuracy in third-party evaluations of its pension fund and related actuarial adjustments. The financial statements were originally scheduled for release on November 29, 2025.
As a result, the company’s annual report, which incorporates the audited figures, will also be delayed. The new expected filing date for the report is February 18, 2026, instead of the original deadline of January 28.
The company stated it is working closely with its auditors and external specialists to finalise the documents within the revised timeline.
“Tropical Battery Company Limited reaffirms its full commitment to transparency, regulatory compliance and the delivery of reliable information to its shareholders and the investing public,” the stock exchange release said.
