KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) President, Michael Ricketts, is urging fans to support the Reggae Boyz’s final chance at a spot at the 2026 World Cup as tickets for their intercontinental match against New Caledonia are set to go on sale February 26.

The Intercontinental Playoffs, which are to be held in Mexico, will see Jamaica play New Caledonia on March 26, and if they win, move on to challenge the Democratic Republic of Congo for a spot in the FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup, which has already seen record ticket sales, according to FIFA, will be held across Mexico, Canada and the United States.

Jamaica moved on to the intercontinental playoffs after failing to advance from Group B, scoring below Curacao who topped the group.

Tickets for Jamaica’s versus New Caledonia game will go on sale on FIFA’s website on February 26.

In a press release on Wednesday, the JFF advised fans to pre-register and select Jamaica before purchasing tickets when they visit www.fifa.com/tickets.

“We are two victories away from qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and to accomplish this we will need all hands on deck. Our supporters are truly important to us and we want them there to spur the team on to achieve qualification. So I am encouraging our fans to purchase tickets early so that we can be there in Guadalajara in March,” Ricketts said.
