Ex-prince Andrew leaves UK police station after hours of custody — BBC
LONDON, United Kingdom (AFP) — Britain’s former prince Andrew left police custody late Thursday after being arrested and held for hours on suspicion of misconduct while he was a trade envoy, UK media reported.
The BBC and other newspapers showed a photo of the disgraced royal slumped in the back of a car after nightfall, having been arrested at around 8:00 am (0800 GMT) by Thames Valley Police, reportedly at his new home on the royal estate of Sandringham, in eastern England.
