Gliding with grit
Jamaica’s four-man bobsleigh team ended the first day of the final at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics in 22nd place on Saturday.
The team of Shane Pitter, Junior Harris, Tyquendo Tracey, and Joel Fearon posted a combined time of 1:50.57, 1.96 seconds behind leaders Germany. Jamaica were 23rd after the first run in 55.28 seconds, then improved to 19th in the second heat with 55.29.
Trinidad and Tobago were 27th in the first run in 55.72 seconds, but did not finish the second heat.
