Second suspect in murder of 3-y-o and father in custody
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two people are now in police custody following the gun attack on February 21 that resulted in the deaths of three-year-old Jayce Pinnock and his father, 31-year-old Kerrio Pinnock, on Nelson Street, Denham Town in Kingston.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
Reports are that about 1:30 am on February 21, armed men entered Pinnock’s residence and opened fire.
Kerrio Pinnock reportedly attempted to escape but was shot multiple times before the gunmen fled.
After the attack, Kerrio, Jayce and another child were found with gunshot wounds.
All three were taken to the hospital, where Jayce was pronounced dead.
Kerrio succumbed to his injuries on Monday, February 23.
The other child was admitted for treatment.

The police said investigations are ongoing.
