Fashion Radar: Emanuelle Boutique

Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) stops by Emanuelle Boutique for this week’s spotlight on retailers. Under the fashion radar today is principal Clover Stewart.

How and where did the Emanuelle Boutique story begin?

Emanuelle Boutique began its journey in 1991, initially operating as a manufacturing and supply business serving wholesale outlet. In June of that year, the business made a pivotal transition into retail, opening its first boutique at Princeville Plaza. Though modest in size — approximately 250 square feet — the store marked the official start of Emanuelle’s retail presence and laid the foundation for what would now become a 35-year business.

How did your own journey in retail commence?

My personal journey in retail started with designing and manufacturing my own clothing line. Over time, however, the challenges of local manufacturing and personal life increased, prompting a shift toward importing fashion pieces from across the globe. I sourced items from countries including Venezuela, Panama, the United Kingdom, Canada, Curaçao, and the United States.

As my family grew and I had children, the extensive travel became increasingly difficult. This season of life led me to make a strategic decision—to focus fully on retail by opening my own boutique and closing the wholesale arm of the business.

What has kept you in the industry?

First and foremost, God has been our consistent provider. Emanuelle Boutique was built on faith, on the foundation of God’s promises, and through every season — especially during challenging periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic — He has sustained us. From providing for the business to seeing my children through their schooling, God has truly been our ever-present help.

Beyond faith, fashion has been my calling from day one. The expression of beauty through clothing excites me, particularly when it allows us to offer women outfits that are classy, elegant, and confident. At Emanuelle, we believe strongly that there is beauty in modesty — and that modesty can still be undeniably sexy.

How have you maintained relevance in such a competitive environment?

We remain competitive by consistently prioritising quality while keeping our pieces affordable. Our designs stand out, and we cater to a wide range of occasions — from everyday wear to special events. Staying true to our core philosophy — that modesty is beautiful and fashionable — has allowed us to maintain a strong and loyal customer base over the years.

What can customers look forward to from Emanuelle Boutique in 2026?

Customers can expect modern, up-to-date fashion curated for all occasions. In 2026, Emanuelle Boutique will continue to evolve with global trends while remaining true to its identity — offering versatile pieces, refined silhouettes, and timeless styles that empower women to feel confident, elegant, and stylish no matter the setting.

Finally, what are a few season must-haves?

This season’s must-haves include elegant midi dresses, tailored two-piece sets, statement blouses, versatile evening wear, and timeless accessories that effortlessly transition from day to night — pieces that reflect sophistication, confidence, and enduring style.
