Guardian Life Limited recently staged its 26th annual staff awards at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, delivering a vibrant, high-energy celebration under the theme “Powered by Passion, Driven to Excellence.”
The Grand Jamaica Suite was transformed into a striking “Brazil in Bloom” showcase, with bold tropical hues — bright blues, magentas, oranges, and yellows — drawn from the company’s brand palette. Lush arrangements of tropical flowers, monstera leaves, orchids and ferns completed the setting. Hosted by media personality Terri-Karelle Johnson, with roving emcee Talia Soares Brown, the event brought together executives, employees and insurance advisors in polished “corporate elegance”, with attendees embracing the theme in colourful, standout style. High-energy performances for the night were delivered by the Ashe Company and songbird Alaine who kept the audience entertained with her signature hits.
During the memorable event, more than 300 team members were recognised across 30-plus categories, highlighting excellence in leadership, performance and service. From top honours such as Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year to the Chairman’s and President’s trophies, the ceremony underscored Guardian Life’s culture of passion, pride and excellence — celebrating the people behind its continued success.
