Gas prices up $4.50, diesel up $4.50

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, March 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $175.32 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $167.88.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $180.25 per litre after an increase of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $187.09 per litre, also up $4.50.

Kerosene increased by $4.50 and will be sold for $169.64 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.11 per litre, up $3.06, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $89.33 per litre, up $3.06.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markups to these prices.
