JWN, Xodus ready to thrill for 2026 Carnival
Dominic Bell, communications manager at J Wray & Nephew Limited, says that Campari’s partnership with Xodus for Carnival in Jamaica for the fourth year is a testament to continuous mutual growth.
“When it comes on to that of Carnival in Jamaica, Xodus is the largest band on the road. Not only that, the Xodus (Carnival) season forms part of our continued engagement with our consumers to showcase how cool, confident, and sensual Campari can be within these types of spaces,” Bell told the Jamaica Observer on Thursday at the Campari Mixology Experience & Lyme held at J Wray & Nephew offices in New Kingston.
The event featured live music by Laing D, and saw specially invited Campari and Xodus partners gathering to socialise and enjoy interactive games, as well as mixed drinks offerings.
Bell further noted that Thursday’s event served as another opportunity to foster the relationships with the brand’s partners.
“The season would have started already, but this serves as a moment for us to engage our partners, media and influencers alike, on the different Campari mixes that we are offering this Carnival season. Whether it’s the Campari Grapefruit, Campari Orange, or that of Rumpari, which is a Jamaican favourite, we wanted to showcase how to properly make the Campari mixes and, of course, how to enjoy them responsibly on the road,” he said.
Meanwhile, Scott Dunn, group managing director for Dream Entertainment Limited, noted that the partnership with Campari always yields maximum results.
“Xodus and Campari are a power couple. Carnival is beautiful women, great drinks, and tons of fun. Together we deliver the most premium week of events,” he told the Observer.
The theme for this year’s Xodus Carnival is ‘OlympiX’. The 2026 season will feature an extended calendar, including the return of Xodus Wet, which will take place on Easter Monday, Lost in Paradise, Bacchanal J’Ouvert, and the band’s signature Carnival events — Xodus Fete Gala, Xodus Tailgate, and Xodus Remedy.
“I’m most excited about starting Carnival Week with a bang, with Campari Xodus Wet Music Festival. Our Xodus brother, Voice, will be performing and there will be lots of woman and woman and woman and Campari,” Dunn said, in response to his most highly anticipated event for the season.
With a mandate to continuously improve patron-reveller experience, Dunn said that Xodus’s respective success is linked to dedication.
“I always say that people see the glory, but they don’t know the story. Xodus’s success is the result of the hard work of our team. We are always in the lab cooking up new ideas,” he continued.
