MONIQUE M Lewis, founder and CEO of MML Consulting Group LLC, and president of the East Orange Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey, United States, was recently honoured with a Leadership Recognition Award at the Refined & Empowered Outreach 2026 Honoree Ceremony in that state.

The event recognised leaders committed to strengthening communities and expanding opportunity.

Presented by Refined and Empowered Outreach, a community-based organisation dedicated to empowering individuals and families through outreach initiatives, leadership development, and support programmes, the award honours individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service, and a commitment to uplifting others.

Lewis, a Jamaican, was selected for her leadership, community involvement, and contributions to economic and business development. As president of the East Orange Chamber of Commerce, she supports small business growth, fosters partnerships, and advances initiatives that strengthen the local economy.

“Monique’s leadership reflects purpose and impact,” said a representative from Refined and Empowered Outreach. “Her work continues to create opportunities for others to grow and succeed.”

Recipients were chosen based on demonstrated leadership, measurable community impact, and alignment with the organisation’s mission. Lewis was honoured alongside seven other individuals recognised for their contributions within their communities.
