Business Social – May 29
SENIOR executives from Japan, the United States and across the Caribbean gathered at the Moon Palace resort in Ocho Rios recently for the welcome reception of the Fujitsu Americas Business Kickoff (ABKO) 2026 — the first time the regional conference was hosted in the Caribbean. The event brought together technology leaders, government officials, and business stakeholders for discussions on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, tourism and disaster resilience across the region.
The multi-day conference featured presentations, networking sessions, and cultural showcases examining how emerging technologies can support economic growth, public sector modernisation, and stronger disaster response systems in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
