TUCKER, St James — Corinaldi Avenue Primary will hunt a fourth-straight title when they take on six-time winners Catherine Hall Primary in the St James Football Association/Victoria Mutual Foundation Under-13 final at WesPow Park.

The match is set to start at 11:30 am.

The finals will follow the third-place play-off between Anchovy Primary and John Rollins Success Primary, starting at 10:00 am.

Defending champions Corinaldi Avenue are seeking to complete the season without conceding a goal. They are also aiming to end their third straight season without losing a game.

Corinaldi Avenue topped Zone A, scoring 26 goals along the way before beating Flanker Primary 4-0 in the quarter-finals.

Catherine Hall were runners-up to Irwin Primary in Zone B then knocked out the highly rated Barracks Road in the quarter-finals on penalties.

In Tuesday’s semi-finals at Wespow Park, Corinaldi Avenue blanked John Rollins Success 2-0, while Catherine Hall edged Anchovy Primary 1-0.

Tyheir McLean scored in the 30th minute for Corinaldi Avenue and Kyle Birch added the second in the 50th, despite some outstanding goalkeeping from Success Primary’s Ranaldo Bartley.

In the other encounter, Traeshawn Stephenson’s 47th-minute goal made the difference for Catherine Hall against Anchovy Primary.
