Are women becoming too aggressive?
MEN were once seen as the “aggressors” but as time has progressed, women are holding their own, sometimes even being viewed as too aggressive when they become independent.
What has caused this? Things like financial empowerment, academic advancement or an abusive past can make a woman adopt a strong stance – a me against the world attitude.
A woman who is financially prudent and successful can be “aggressive” simply because of the power attached to her status. It is not that she desires to downplay her man, but because of the role she plays outside of her intimate relationship, her personality may radiate traits that reflect “aggression”.
An educated woman can also be “aggressive”, as being educated exposes the mind to a vast amount of information which is empowering, and with that births confidence that affects how she relates not just to others but also to her man.
A woman who has a history or a past of men abusing her can become a woman with a stone-cold heart. It is not that she sets out to speak out and dismiss any man who makes a mistake, she simply decides to protect her heart.
And a woman who is so lost within herself that she really doesn’t know who she is as a woman can come off too strong.
So men, it is important that in your dealings with women you identify the one you’re dealing with.
