When things fall apart
What a week! Sleepless in Seattle is back, the city was bursting at its seams between CARICOM, the Circus, Romeo and Juliet and the launch of Sumfest. We woke each morning to the latest shoot outs and prayed for our own daily safety. The plazas are under siege, panic buttons are being pressed on a daily basis and the fight for a seat in the White House continues unabated.
And just as some silly people had bought into the hype it all came crashing down. Now the wedding story was good but this one definitely deserves two oscars. But we gather Papa was not too impressed by statements made earlier this week.
Upper St Andrew had eyebrows raised when the Russians from Platinum arrived. Why? I really do not know since many have already sampled their water-down caviar.
So what’s in store for this week? Your guess is as good as mine for there’s never a dull moment in Jamaica land we love.
Wayne Chen bought the ring all by himself and the charming Diane has acquiesced so the wedding is all set for November – Thanksgiving weekend to facilitate the bride’s friends. Both lovers sipped champagne and enjoyed best wishes from family and friends. Now why are you asking me if it’s going to be a double wedding?
Meanwhile, the former diplomats daughter is hoping that the French speaking one will finally put her out of her misery. But not every ‘Oui’ uttered means………………
He’s going away to study………..how is it going to unravel? Well he’s free but she’s still attached. Keep watching this space.
It seems that the addicted one has not only lost his job but mother miserable as well. We don’t know what her grouse is since her face was always sour even when the dice was rolling in his favour.
Why are people so cruel. Indeed her hair really needs a good cut but when she was young he loved ‘tall’ hair. And yes, she really can no longer handle the night activities – she constantly nods off but then again could it be because she’s not taking those wonder Vits that he is.
